(North Canton, Ohio: January 9, 2025) – Combi Packaging Systems, LLC, a leading U.S. manufacturer of end-of-line packaging equipment, is pleased to announce the hire of Tim Darney as Director of Engineering.
Darney brings over 20 years of experience in packaging automation and a proven track record of delivering innovative engineering solutions at both Automated Packaging Systems and Sealed Air Corporation.
In his new role, Darney’s primary focus will be on leading a dynamic team of multi-functional engineers to deliver quality, innovative, custom solutions to Combi customers across the globe. Under his leadership, the team will strive to continually be on the leading edge integrating the latest digitally transforming technologies including robotics, IoT-enabled systems and automation controls.

A mechanical engineering graduate of Grove City College, Darney also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Ashland University. A Lake Milton, Ohio resident, he enjoys boating and wake surfing with family and friends.
