(North Canton, Ohio: January 9, 2025) – Combi Packaging Systems, LLC, a leading U.S. manufacturer of end-of-line packaging equipment, is pleased to announce the hire of Tim Darney as Director of Engineering.
Darney brings over 20 years of experience in packaging automation and a proven track record of delivering innovative engineering solutions at both Automated Packaging Systems and Sealed Air Corporation.
In his new role, Darney’s primary focus will be on leading a dynamic team of multi-functional engineers to deliver high-quality, innovative, and custom solutions to Combi customers worldwide. Under his leadership, the team will strive to continually be on the leading edge, integrating the latest digitally transforming technologies, including robotics, IoT-enabled systems, and automation controls.

A mechanical engineering graduate of Grove City College, Darney also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Ashland University. A resident of Lake Milton, Ohio, he enjoys boating and wake surfing with his family and friends.
