Combi Packaging Welcomes Industry Veteran Don Macdonald to Lead Western Sales Region

Combi Packaging, a leader in end-of-line packaging innovation, is excited to welcome Don Macdonald as its new Senior Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast. In this role, Don will lead sales initiatives across the Western United States, partnering with customers to deliver innovative, efficient, and reliable packaging solutions. With more than two decades of experience in packaging solutions and automation, Don brings deep technical expertise and a strong record of driving operational efficiency, market growth, and customer success to Combi’s expanding sales organization.

Don’s career includes extensive leadership at packaging solution companies, where he directed multiple divisions and spearheaded initiatives that increased market share, optimized workflows, and advanced packaging automation across national operations. Don has orchestrated the design and implementation of advanced automation solutions, improved performance, and reducing waste through cross-functional collaboration.

Earlier in his career, Don held key technical roles with engineering equipment solution specialists to enhance performance and minimize downtime. His foundation in electrical and electronic engineering technologies, with a degree earned from Phillips College, underpins his deep technical understanding of packaging machinery and automation systems.

He will focus on helping manufacturers reduce labor costs, increase production throughput, and optimize packaging performance with Combi’s equipment portfolio.
